They choose camera or drone not smart phone, why?

What kind of product is better for Leasing

Price is high (consumer side)

short-term used but not daily life (consumer side)

product attrition rate (supply side)-> Like wedding dress: if it attrition rate is high -> cost is high -> one-time rent is high -> Gross rental yield is too high

non-customization (supply side): it makes sellers hard to estimate which style is popular (few type is hot, not normalization) -> inventory hard

warehouse cost (supply side): the cost of warehouse is high and delivery cost is high

Easily replacement (pros) -> toys (price is low) and ownership (my opinion)

Difference from E-commerce

items popular -> too many users rent and loss opportunity to rent to others

items unpopular -> it is hard to payback and also time-consuming cost(some product)

Bidding Mechanism, a solution?

power bank

channel: they did not invest -> requires offline (put power bank into restaurant, hotels) -> big company has huge advantages. Super standardized not need to quality management.

consumer: it is small and portable. unnecessary. Also, the phone manufacturing will resolve it in the future.
